Did you know that the more fit you are, the longer you are likely to live?? No kidding you say. Then why are so many people not taking that advice?

Even 30 minutes of brisk walking five days a week can reduce mortality risk by 50% or more, the lead author says “a little bit of exercise goes a long way.”
His recommendations are also echoed by the director of the Cardiovascular Health Clinic at the Mayo Clinic, who notes that the study provides “more evidence that exercise is one of the best medicines we have.” The Veterans Affairs researchers found that the “highly fit” men in the study had half the risk of death as those who were the least fit. Being “very highly fit” cut the risk even more, by 70 percent.
